First introduced in 1903, the Kensington Simplex stove top kettle by Newey & Bloomer is the original that started it all. Over a century later, this classic copper kettle is still individually handcrafted in Birmingham, England, using the same traditional hand-spinning techniques passed down through generations.
Each Kensington kettle takes over a month to create, and it shows in every detail - from the delicate hand cut birdsmouth spout to the rich tones of highly polished natural copper. Whether on display or in use, this kettle is guaranteed to be a functional showpiece in any kitchen.
Perfectly suited for gas and electric stoves, the Kensington No. 1 delivers timeless style, reliable performance, and the iconic Simplex whistle, seated ingeniously in the lid, that signals the best part of your day - tea time.
Please note: Not compatible with induction hobs unless used with an adapter.
